Banning Nuclear Tests: A New Dynamic?

The Strategic Research Foundation in partnership with the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) of Sciences Po organized a meeting around Mr. Lassina Zerbo, Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Sciences Po.

After a long career in the CTBTO Provisional Technical Secretariat as Director of the International Data Centre, Mr. Zerbo took up his duties as Executive Secretary at the head of the CTBTO Preparatory Commission on 1 August 2013. Dr. Zerbo was reappointed for a second term in November 2016.

This meeting was an opportunity for the CTBTO Executive Secretary to review current international strategic developments: multilateral disarmament process, nuclear crisis with North Korea, collective security perspectives, etc.
